Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a client-focused approach to assist us in delivering intricate projects for our public sector clientele. You will leverage your experience in managing projects within an Agile framework, collaborating closely with our technical teams and engaging with clients from various backgrounds. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic leadership and direction for client relationships, as well as the design, development, implementation, and delivery of technology projects.
  2. Oversee projects of varying complexity, which may involve managing multiple work streams.
  3. Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality in alignment with client expectations and industry standards.
  4. Create and maintain essential project management documents, including Project Plans, Release Plans, Roadmaps, Risk, Issues and Decision Logs, Change Requests, Status Reports, and Lessons Learned.
  5. Identify stakeholders in a Stakeholder Management Plan and ensure appropriate engagement levels.
  6. Communicate project status, risks, issues, and budget to project governance and relevant stakeholders.
  7. Identify, manage, and communicate project risks through the development, execution, and adjustment of the Risk Management Plan.
  8. Lead cross-functional project teams, including task assignment, mentoring, and resource allocation management.
  9. Measure project performance and take proactive measures to keep projects on track.
  10. Effectively address and resolve project escalations and direct corrective actions.
  11. Ensure compliance with process standards as per Quartech and client requirements.
Qualifications:
  1. University Degree or College/Institute Diploma in computer sciences, business administration, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  3. 10+ years of recent experience in delivering IT solutions.
  4. 5+ years of experience working on Agile and Scrum projects.
  5. 5+ years of experience managing project teams of 3 or more members.
  6. Prior experience managing clients in a consulting environment.
  7. Experience working with provincial government entities is considered an asset.
  8. Project Management Certification and Scrum Master Certification or other relevant methodology certifications are advantageous.
  9. Exceptional skills in stakeholder and vendor management.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
