Job Description

Global Pharma Tek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of our Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects in a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Oracle HCM modules, including CoreHR, Compensation, Time & Labour, Absence Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruitment.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, including training and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with Oracle HCM best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Communicate project status and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, sciences, engineering, human resources, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Oracle HCM modules, including CoreHR, Compensation, Time & Labour, Absence Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruitment.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects in a public sector environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including Oracle HCM, payroll, and human capital management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Oracle HCM certification and experience with Oracle Cloud.
  • Payroll certification (CPP, FPC, CPM, etc.) and/or project management certification (PMP or Prince).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in information technology, sciences, engineering, human resources, or other related field.
  • Experience with position management in a large organization (over 1,000 employees).
  • Experience collaborating on business process enhancements.
  • Experience implementing large software projects in a large organization (over 1,000 employees) in the public sector, preferably with crown corporations.
