Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrator to provide support to our Supply Chain Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with project planning, structure, and delivery of high complexity projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the supply chain management team with project planning, structure, and delivery of high complexity projects.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain management team on various projects as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to the supply chain management team to achieve project objectives, including contract renewals, award and regret letters, contract signatures, Merx submissions, project charts, and RFx folders.
  • Help streamline processes, toolboxes, and templates to minimize errors.
  • Support the Executive Director of Strategic Supply Management with scheduling and ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Direct the flow of information between the office of the Executive Director of Strategic Supply Management and internal/external sources.
  • Undertake ad hoc administrative work for the department, including managing supplies, filing, and coordinating documents.
  • Anticipate and solve problems, handle critical tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform research, analysis, and project coordination in department activities.
  • Manage Access to Information and privacy requests.
Requirements
  • Experience or knowledge of the procurement and sourcing process.
  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a related discipline, with administrative experience.
  • Superior knowledge of computer applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Business Applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Sound judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Professional tact and diplomacy are required.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
