The role involves serving as a technical lead for rolling stock assessments, procurement initiatives, and maintenance projects, as well as overseeing rolling stock maintenance facilities.
Responsibilities include designing and managing equipment acquisition projects.
You will act as a project manager for designated rolling stock initiatives, ensuring that outcomes not only meet but exceed client expectations while achieving project profitability objectives.
You will also be responsible for preparing comprehensive technical and financial proposals for assigned rolling stock projects.
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Membership in the OEQ is considered an asset.
At least 5 years of experience in the heavy rail sector.
Technical Competencies:
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Bilingual in French and functional proficiency in English to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Strong aptitude for teamwork on multidisciplinary projects.
Excellent skills in drafting clear technical reports and proposals.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short-term assignments.
