Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Chef Management and Training
    • Lead and mentor a team of chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
    • Provide training and coaching to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation and taste.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels and optimize ordering to minimize waste and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and control food costs to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests receive a memorable dining experience.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior chef or executive sous chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of menu planning, execution, and innovation.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
