We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Vin Room YYC Airport Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Chef Management
    • Supervise and mentor junior chefs and cooks
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve culinary skills
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered in a timely manner
    • Develop and implement systems to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
    • Develop and implement systems to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior chef role
  • Certifications
    • Cook Trade Certification
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail. They will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
