About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Painter and Decorator to join our team at BB Painting and Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel, with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
