About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at FERJOS PAINTING CORP. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Painting and Decorating: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to meet deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and ensuring their satisfaction with the final result.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry.
  • Work Setting: Willing to work in various locations, including on the road and in a paint and varnish processing plant.
