Job Title: Apprentice Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Painter and Decorator to join our team at BB PAINTING AND SERVICES INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our experienced painters and decorators in completing various painting and decorating tasks, including preparing surfaces, applying paint and wallpaper, and erecting scaffolding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and sand surfaces to be painted, repair cracks and holes, and mix paint to desired color and texture.
  • Painting and Decorating: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors.
