About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at Sumas Mountain Farms. As a Farm Laborer, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock and the maintenance of our farm equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Monitor animal health, handle animals, and perform livestock feeding and tending tasks.
  • Farm Maintenance: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain livestock performance records and work records and logs.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties, including writing daily basic progress reports.
Work Environment

As a Farm Laborer, you will work in a rural area, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work independently and under pressure, with a focus on attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 25 to 30 hours per week.
