About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fruit Farm Laborer to join our team at Sahibas Blueberry Farm Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting and Cultivation: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Weeding and Maintenance: Regularly inspect and remove weeds to prevent competition for resources and maintain a healthy crop environment.
  • Harvesting and Handling: Harvest crops at the optimal time, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • Machinery Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Quality Control: Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market, detecting any disease or health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced agricultural environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration to achieve production goals.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with flexibility to adapt to changing weather conditions and crop needs.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
