About the Role

GURDIAL SINGH & SONS FARM LTD. is seeking a skilled Farm Laborer to join our team. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to crop and livestock management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Livestock Care: Feed and tend to animals, including cows, chickens, and other livestock.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
  • Record Keeping: Write daily progress reports to track farm activities and performance.
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a safe and healthy environment for animals and farm staff.
  • Disease Detection: Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry to prevent the spread of disease and ensure the health and well-being of animals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
