About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fruit Farm Laborer to join our team at Sahibas Blueberry Farm Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, Cultivate, and Irrigate Crops: Ensure the health and productivity of our crops through proper planting, cultivation, and irrigation techniques.
  • Weeding and Crop Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the farm to prevent weeds from interfering with crop growth.
  • Harvest and Handling: Safely and efficiently harvest crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • Machinery Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Disease Detection and Quality Control: Monitor crops, livestock, and poultry for signs of disease or health problems and examine products for quality and readiness for market.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
