Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Canada's Best Value Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for newcomers and refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for youths
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
  • Support for Indigenous people
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees
  • Supports for visible minorities
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
