Your Role

Our Ottawa and/or Manotick office is seeking a bilingual Intermediate Associate to become a vital part of the Cloud Accounting Services team, responsible for the following tasks:

  • Deliver comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services within a cloud-based framework.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, manage journal entries, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare regular external submissions, including HST, and complete routine account analyses and bookkeeping tasks in accordance with established protocols.
  • Compile month-end reporting packages, financial statements, and associated documentation.
  • Address inquiries and rectify errors identified by senior personnel.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, government entities, and fellow team members.

Your Qualifications

  • You have 1-2 years of hands-on, in-depth bookkeeping experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
  • A post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Familiarity with software such as QuickBooks Online, Acomba, and Sage 50 or similar systems is advantageous.
  • You possess excellent communication skills in both English and French, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
