Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Supervisor to join our team at Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns to increase brand awareness, understanding, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies to engage various stakeholder groups, including Canadians, internal employees, donors, partners, and healthcare professionals.
  • Partner with McDonald's Canada to execute unique communications and influencer program initiatives, including McHappy Day.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare organizations and publications, to amplify the RMHC mission.
  • Oversee earned media opportunities, including pitch ideation, outreach, and interview management.
  • Develop and implement storytelling calendars to promote the RMHC mission across Canada.
  • Lead and support a wide range of communication tactics to build engagement, community, and support via various channels.
  • Monitor and track media coverage, and provide quarterly updates to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in communications, preferably in a relevant role, agency, corporate, healthcare, or non-profit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to multiple stakeholder audiences.
  • Familiarity with digital and social media platforms, including analytics and trend identification.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and lead/support multiple high-priority projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
