Job Title: Communications Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Canada. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns to increase brand awareness, understanding, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of communications campaigns from start-to-finish, including briefing and managing external agency partners.
  • Partner with McDonald's Canada to execute communications and influencer program executions and key fundraising initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships and identify opportunities for proactive development of national communications campaigns to amplify and build education of the RMHC mission.
  • Execute partnerships within Canada's pediatric healthcare landscape and communicate with healthcare audiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven communications experience in a relevant role, with agency, corporate, healthcare, and/or non-profit communications experience an asset.
  • Dedicated self-starter who can work independently and virtually within a peer-based team setting.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a thorough understanding of how to communicate to multiple stakeholder audiences.
  • Familiarity with digital and social media platforms and tools, including the ability to understand and leverage analytics to identify trends, set goals, and report on digital and social performance.
  • Keen sense of emerging external trends across all facets of earned, owned, and social media.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and lead/support multiple high-priority projects with senior stakeholders, including agency partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and proven ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Well-organized, resourceful, with excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate, orchestrate, and work through complex issues across multiple stakeholders with a strategic and tactical perspective.
