Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Line Technician to join our team at DiV Communications. As a Telecommunication Line Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and complete test and service reports.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to minimize downtime.
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often in varying weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless network operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
