About the Role

MobiXpress is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunications Field Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems, including cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment and other telecommunications-related issues.
  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct tests on customer lines and equipment using computerized testing systems, and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by completing and maintaining test and service reports, and ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in this field of employment.
  • Skill and Knowledge: Ability to distinguish between colours, manual dexterity, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Possession of required certifications.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, MobiXpress offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
