Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely delivery of design work packages while adhering to budget constraints;
  2. Lead project monitoring and control activities, including schedule maintenance, updates, meeting documentation, risk management, and change order processing;
  3. Oversee engineering status prioritization and execution of tasks across various functional areas;
  4. Facilitate discussions regarding project scope and requirements with technical teams and clients;
  5. Actively contribute to the development of optimal technical solutions for projects;
  6. Integrate relevant standards such as CMMI, CENELEC, AREMA, IEEE, IPC, etc. into project workflows;
  7. Communicate project objectives effectively to the project team and ensure alignment with the project timeline;
  8. Maintain effective Configuration Management practices, including document management and transmittal processes;
  9. Take responsibility for the overall Engineering Solution.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project engineering role or as a lead systems/design engineer for engineering system applications. Proven experience in basic project management, including:

  1. Budget maintenance and control;
  2. Schedule development and monitoring;
  3. Risk register management;
  4. Resource and task management.

Extensive knowledge of engineering lifecycles, delivery processes, and hardware/software integration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (MS Project), requirements management systems, and software configuration tools. Experience managing medium to large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams. Strong multitasking abilities and excellent relationship-building skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the rail or rail transit sector is advantageous but not mandatory. Previous involvement in supporting bids and proposals for new projects is a plus. Familiarity with systems architecture design and mission-critical control systems is desirable. Leadership experience in either functional management or project management roles is also beneficial.

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is essential.
