Food Store Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan. As a Food Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Teach interest or professional development courses to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Ability to work on site and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
