Position Summary:Under the direction of the Production Director, the Production Supervisor will oversee all production operations to ensure adherence to production benchmarks, safety protocols, quality standards, timelines, and cost efficiency.

Supervise a team of unionized personnel to meet production objectives
- Implement production schedules provided by the Production Planner
- Manage the transition of work between shifts
- Identify defects and non-conformities in parts
- Address machinery concerns with department Supervisors
- Participate in assessing training requirements
- Resolve workplace issues and propose productivity enhancements
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and operational best practices
- Approve operator tasks and engage in continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote and comply with safety regulations
- Participate in investigations of incidents within the department
Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities
- Initiative, creativity, and capacity to handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
- Experience in a unionized setting is advantageous
- Post-secondary education in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in the French language
