We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at Nicola Lodge Care Community. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Ensure the safekeeping and control of medications and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
- Create a comfortable and safe environment that promotes resident autonomy and independence.
- Optimize resident potential to achieve maximum functional ability.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and other team members to ensure effective care delivery.
- Liaise with medical team members to provide effective clinical care for residents.
- Diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
- Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification.
- Current First Aid with CPR.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (for Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (for British Columbia applicants).
- Long Term Care experience.
