Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Meatings Barbecue Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illness.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to ensure that they are presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
