We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at State & Main Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and to a high standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
