We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Meatings Barbecue Inc. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in our kitchen, and proficiency is required.
