Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to manage and maintain our financial records with precision and accuracy. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting our accounting operations.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment

This position is based in an urban setting, providing access to public transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Office
  • Experience with spreadsheets and Xero
