Apprentice Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at Aztec Structural Restoration Inc. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will assist our experienced carpenters in various construction projects, including building foundations, installing floor beams, and erecting walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build and maintain foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Work in a team environment to meet project deadlines
- Will train on the job
- Permanent employment opportunity
- 37.5 hours per week
- English language proficiency
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying work conditions, including heights, confined spaces, noise, dust, and outdoors. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under tight deadlines, and maintain a physically demanding pace.
