Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Canada Inc. as a key member of our food service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service establishment.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is properly managed.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers, and staff in various areas of responsibility.
- Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, repairs, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Our food service establishment operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring our staff to work under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. We offer a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
English is the primary language of communication in our food service establishment.
Hours of WorkOur food service establishment operates 32 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent position available.
