About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Integration Specialist to join our team at D2L. As a key member of our Implementation Services group, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between various applications and systems using the Workato platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the voice of both the customer and implementation services, providing expert guidance on integrations within our Implementation Services group.
  2. Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand, document, and execute on their integration needs, ensuring seamless integration solutions.
  3. Integration Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of D2L Link, API, LTI, SSO, SIS, and other relevant technologies.
  4. Requirements Gathering: Contribute to requirements gathering and prioritization with product managers and development managers to drive integration needs.
  5. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify feasible solutions related to integrations with D2L products and D2L Partners, and provide leadership support to other consultants.
  6. Critical Issue Identification: Raise critical issues and concerns to leadership as required, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on clients.
  7. Pre-Sales Support: Work with the sales team during the pre-sales process to address complex use cases related to integrations.
  8. Team Support: Provide leadership support to other consultants, ensuring a high level of service delivery and client satisfaction.
  9. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within our consulting services for integrations, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Policy and Procedure Development: Recognize and identify areas where existing policies and procedures require change or development, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Requirements
  1. Consultative Approach: Possess the ability to instill confidence and influence clients' decisions in a consultative manner, serving as a trusted advisor.
  2. Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak to various audiences with different levels of technical acumen.
  3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resulting in creative solutions that meet client needs.
  4. Organizational Skills: Demonstrate the ability to multitask multiple projects simultaneously, using strong organizational skills and prioritization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Possess knowledge of the SDLC and emerging technologies, with experience in database management and relevant programming technologies.
  2. Database Knowledge: Demonstrate working experience with database management systems and relevant technologies.
  3. Technical Skills: Possess working experience with technologies such as D2L Link, AWS, API integrations, GitHub, Postman, Single Sign-On/Web Authentication, Business Intelligence tools, XML, HTML/HTML5/CSS, and SQL.
  4. Work Experience: Possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least one year of experience working with relevant programming technologies and one or more of the following: Learning Management Systems, SaaS Environments, and integration experience.
  5. Education: Hold a university degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
