Telecommunications Rigger

Erivan-Gecom Inc. is seeking a skilled Rigger - Telecommunications to join our team. As a Rigger - Telecommunications, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, inspecting trunking systems, and testing equipment to locate transmission faults.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
- Inspect trunking systems to ensure proper functioning
- Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble
- Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to install and maintain equipment
- Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure proper connections
- Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure optimal performance
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
- Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors
