Erivan-Gecom Inc. is seeking a skilled Rigger - Telecommunications to join our team. As a Rigger - Telecommunications, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, inspecting trunking systems, and testing equipment to locate transmission faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
  • Inspect trunking systems to ensure proper functioning
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to install and maintain equipment
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure proper connections
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Manual dexterity to perform tasks that require fine motor skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
