Erivan-Gecom Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Rigger to join our team. As a Telecommunications Rigger, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.

Work Environment

Our Telecommunications Rigger will work outdoors, at heights, and in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to climb poles, ladders, and other support structures to install and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test telecommunications equipment to locate faults and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including coaxial lines, fibre optics, and copper cables.
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to document work completed.
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble and take corrective action to resolve issues.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Ability to work at heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
