Sales and Service Representative

MRC Global is a leading provider of products and services to the oil and gas industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales and Service Representative.
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring the safe and effective operation of our branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries, develop new business opportunities, and generate quotes using our database.
- Maximize sales revenue through careful analysis and negotiation.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to increase market share and grow sales.
- Provide product information, delivery specifications, and payment terms to customers.
- Assist outside sales and branch management in processing priority transactions.
- Develop and maintain accurate customer files and profiles.
- Monitor and expedite shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with:
A high school diploma or equivalent and additional post-secondary training or education.At least two years of experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or warehouse services with increasing responsibility.Demonstrated competence in computer software applications and excellent communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.Valid driver's license and ability to meet MRC Global's vehicle policy requirements.Working Conditions:
