Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director, Economic Corridors, this leadership role provides strategic coordination and knowledge management for the Economic Corridors team. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of recommendations, maintain stakeholder engagements, and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic recommendations for economic corridor development, aligned with established priorities and processes.
  2. Maintain ongoing and lead new economic-corridor based engagements with stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
  3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Manage the development of briefing notes, presentations, and other documents to inform the Executive Team and Minister.
  5. Lead the team in a systems thinking approach, identifying impacts, interconnections, and unintended consequences for economic corridor work.
  6. Contribute to the development of annual operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the unit.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in economic development and corridor management. A bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant work experience are required.
