We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as an ADP Authorizer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with seniors and provide therapy solutions in a dynamic and growing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
- Identify appropriate equipment needs and initiate recommendations.
- Consult with local vendors regarding equipment trials and complete applications for funding.
- Provide informal education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides.
- Record assessment and treatment interventions in the client's chart.
Qualifications:
- Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
- ADP Authorization is a must-have.
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
