About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as an ADP Authorizer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with seniors in the Muskoka region, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments and specialized seating and positioning assessments
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, working with local vendors to ensure seamless implementation
  • Provide education and training to clients and families on independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides
  • Monitor and record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts, adhering to College of Occupational Therapists guidelines

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
  • ADP Authorization is a must-have
  • Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
