About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As an Audio Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality audio assets for our video games, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement audio systems for our games, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that audio assets meet the required standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in our games.
- Develop and maintain audio tools and pipelines to streamline the audio creation process.
- Work with the audio team to create and implement audio features and workflows.
- Ensure that all audio assets are properly tested and validated before release.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest audio technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our audio assets.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in game audio or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of audio creation equipment, software, and recording techniques.
- Experience with visual programming languages for audio, such as Unreal Blueprints or Max/MSP.
- Experience with game development tools, such as Perforce, Jira, and Devtrack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working with surround sound and other advanced audio formats.
- Experience with SFX creation pipelines and implementation workflows.
- Experience with relational databases, such as MS Access.
- Scripting or programming knowledge, such as Python or Batch scripts.
