Job Title: Professional Practice Clinician - Cancer Services

Halton Healthcare Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Practice Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our oncology program, you will be responsible for clinical teaching, staff development, and standardization of practice for the management of cancer services in the adult oncology patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs for staff and patients
  • Collaborate with the oncology program team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct clinical audits and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to professional practice and clinical care
  • Provide education and support to staff on best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • BScN or BN degree
  • Masters' degree in Nursing, Education, or Health Administration (preferred)
  • Certification in oncology nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in oncology
