Job Summary

Excelone Staffing Services is seeking a skilled Garbage Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a garbage truck, collecting waste, and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for our community.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a garbage truck to collect waste from various locations
  • Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
  • Hold a valid AZ class license, DZ class license, and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Have experience operating a garbage truck or similar vehicle
  • Pass a driver's validity license check and driving record check (abstract)
  • Drive a manual transmission vehicle and have a valid driver's license
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Environment

This is a casual position with a 40 to 48 hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work in different locations and interact with a diverse team.
