Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at J S Convenience Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient workflow
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in retail management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
