Position Overview

LAFRAMBOISE GROUP is in search of an Intermediate / Senior Project Manager with a strong background in industrial projects. This role is pivotal in overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of projects, including coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor and update project budgets and schedules, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Resource Leadership: Manage and lead project resources to ensure optimal performance and delivery.
  • Contract Management: Administer prime contracts with clients and manage subcontracts for construction and services.
  • Estimating and Bidding: Lead the estimating and bidding process, including the preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop procurement and construction strategies focusing on efficiency and safety.
  • Progress Tracking: Create schedules and monitor progress throughout all project phases, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Barrier Identification: Proactively identify project barriers and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Financial Forecasting: Forecast revenues and costs for projects to support profit and loss reporting.
  • Change Management: Prepare requests for changes in scope, budget, and schedule as necessary.
  • Standards Application: Apply relevant civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical design standards.
  • Site Visits: Travel to project sites as required to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplined industrial projects with a budget of $15MM or more.
  • Engineering or technical degree with eligibility for professional status.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an industrial contracting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in contract documentation analysis and administration.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in MS 365 Office, MS Project, SharePoint, and project controls software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and professional judgment.
  • Willingness to relocate between office and project sites for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $60/hr to $90/hr.
