Position Overview

LAFRAMBOISE GROUP is on the lookout for an Intermediate / Senior Project Manager with a robust background in industrial projects. This full-time role will focus on overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of projects, including coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Budget and Schedule Monitoring: Regularly update and track project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to financial and scheduling constraints.
  • Resource Leadership: Direct and manage project resources, ensuring optimal performance and collaboration.
  • Contract Management: Handle prime contracts with clients and subcontracts for construction and services.
  • Estimating and Bidding: Lead the estimating and bidding processes, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that prioritize efficiency, safety, and constructability.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety policies and regulations are strictly followed on-site.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Problem Identification: Proactively identify project barriers and devise strategies to mitigate them.
  • Financial Forecasting: Forecast project revenues and costs for inclusion in profit and loss reports.
  • Change Management: Prepare and submit requests for changes in project scope, budget, and schedule as necessary.
  • Site Visits: Travel to project sites as required to ensure project alignment and address any issues.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary industrial projects with budgets exceeding $15MM.
  • Engineering or technical degree with eligibility for professional status.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an industrial contracting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in contract documentation analysis and administration.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS 365 Office, MS Project, SharePoint, and project controls software.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and sound professional judgment.
  • Willingness to relocate as necessary for project requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience (Range: $60/hr to $90/hr).
