Job Overview

Position:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse/General Laborer to join our team. This role is based in our Saskatoon Branch and reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • Organizing the warehouse and ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Handling the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Conducting regular inventory audits and reporting findings to the Warehouse Manager
  • Maintaining ongoing inventory for continuous projects as per company guidelines
  • Executing various material handling tasks for order fulfillment, receiving, and loading/unloading
  • Adhering to procedures to guarantee precise shipping and receiving
  • Upholding a professional attitude at all times
  • Promoting safety protocols
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and ladders
  • Collaborating with warehouse personnel, construction Project Managers, clients, and safety teams
  • Performing additional tasks as required

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in various formats
  • Capability to address issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Resourcefulness, integrity, and a solid work ethic, with a capacity to work collaboratively
  • Familiarity with industry standards, company policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of overhead doors, including sectional, rolling steel, high-speed, or specialty doors is a plus

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant trade experience is essential (e.g., construction, welding, millwright, electrical)
  • Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous
  • Customer service experience is beneficial
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Relevant safety training or certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain (WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Physical capabilities including lifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, lying down, squatting, and kneeling
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug, alcohol, and health assessments
  • New hires must provide a current Driver's Abstract at their own expense
