Job Overview
Position:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse/General Laborer for our operations. This role is essential in supporting our warehouse activities and will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include:
Organizing the warehouse and ensuring effective inventory management Handling the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments Conducting regular inventory audits and reporting findings to the Warehouse Manager Maintaining ongoing inventory records in accordance with company protocols Executing various material handling tasks for order fulfillment, receiving, and loading/unloading Adhering to established procedures to guarantee accurate shipping and receiving Upholding a professional demeanor at all times Promoting and adhering to safety standards Delivering exceptional customer service Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and ladders as required Engaging regularly with warehouse personnel, project managers, customers, and safety teams Performing additional tasks as assignedRequired Skills:
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities Capability to interpret and execute instructions provided in various formats Proficiency in addressing issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios Demonstrating resourcefulness, integrity, and a strong work ethic within a team setting Familiarity with industry standards, company policies, and procedures Knowledge of overhead doors and related systems is advantageousQualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Relevant trade experience is essential (e.g., construction, welding, electrical) Previous exposure to a warehouse environment is beneficial Customer service experience is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Relevant safety training or certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid) Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Physical capabilities including lifting, pulling, climbing, and managing tools Successful completion of pre-employment screening is required New hires must provide a current Driver's Abstract at their own expenseBenefits:
