About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team at JYSK Canada. As a key member of our store operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and logistics within our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload, stock, and retrieve merchandise in the backroom of the store, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Support the sales floor team by maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Assist with receiving and processing shipments, including inspecting merchandise for damage or defects.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of retail experience, preferably in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg without assistance and over 21 kg with team lifting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately count and record inventory levels.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
