Job Description

Baycrest is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. As a Research Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our research initiatives and contributing to the advancement of our understanding of brain function and behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Management: Develop and maintain databases to support research projects, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection and analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in the analysis of behavioral, neuropsychological, and imaging data, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for research projects, including scheduling interviews, preparing research materials, and maintaining subject records.
  • Research Coordination: Coordinate research activities, including preparing research protocols, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with research team members, participants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field, with previous research experience.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with older adults and individuals with mood and/or memory problems in a clinical or research setting.
