We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and consultation services for children with hearing loss.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of children with hearing loss, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide education and support to families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their child's hearing health.
- Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless referrals and access to rehabilitation services for children with hearing loss.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences to ensure audiologic needs are met in service planning.
- Masters degree in Audiology from a recognized university program.
- One year of recent experience in pediatric audiology or a related field.
- Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia.
