About the Role

As an Audiologist at BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, and consultation services for children with hearing loss or suspected hearing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments to identify hearing loss and related issues in children.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address hearing loss and promote optimal communication outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for children with hearing loss.
  • Provide education and support to families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and audiological equipment use.
  • Stay current with the latest research, technologies, and best practices in pediatric audiology.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Audiology or related field.
  • Registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Minimum one year of experience in pediatric audiology or related field.
