Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Terminal Operator to join our team at our Hamilton, Ontario location. As a Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, loading and unloading liquid fertilizer trucks, and performing various tasks around the site.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy equipment, including loaders with high tip buckets and skid steers.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload liquid fertilizer trucks using overhead pipes and gangways.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform light repairs on various equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Heightened Safety: Work at heights when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Scale Operations: Basic operation of scale systems and other general labor tasks around the site.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including loaders with buckets and skid steers.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid G-Class License and Working at Heights Certification.
- Physical Demands: Comfortable lifting 50lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team and independently.
